Women in Logistics Middle East was established mainly to create a pool of opportunities for women in the logistics industry. In addition, it is a great door open for women, enabling them to get a mentor, network, and enhance and retain their professional careers within the industry through various events and workshops conducted by this association.

Women in Logistics Middle East was established in May 2012 and gained fast momentum; with more than 200 members in the first five months, there are now many members, and the number of new members is increasing daily. The speed with which the group has grown is quite phenomenal. Quite a few of our members are men who support women working in the industry, and we actively encourage more men to consider joining us as associate members. WILME feels men are experts in logistics and shipping and are regarded as excellent role models for our female members to gain in-depth knowledge and learn from. Please get in touch with us at info@wil-me.com or even call us, and we can meet and further discuss such great initiatives.
She has been appointed by FONASBA (Federation of National Association of Ship Brokers and Agents), which is based in the UK, as their Deputy – Regional Vice President – M.E. and ISC (Indian Sub Continent). She was elected Board Member of Jebel Ali Seafarers Centre in May 2017.
