Membership.
Any applicant for membership with the DSAA association must hold a valid shipping agency trade license and must be registered with the Dubai Customs as a shipping agent.
Any applicant for membership with the Association must have a minimum paid up capital of AED 300,000/- or such other amount as may be determined from time to time by the Executive Committee.
Benefits of DSAA Membership.

DSAA is a platform from where all common issues get addressed with the relevant Govt. Authorities mainly DP World & Dubai Customs, Dubai Airport Immigration, DNATA etc. which as a single member at time finds difficult to achieve for fear of any backlash.

DSAA with the help of members organises various vessel visits, wherein lot of members who visit the vessels gets hand-on experience of how the vessel operates and other functions of vessels etc.

Every quarter DSAA organises MEET & GREET SERIES with DP World and Customs, wherein the members discuss the problems they face with these departments on day-to-day basis. One of the main issues is mainly related to Containers on hold etc.

Based on one of members’ request, DSAA organises various meetings / presentation in conjunction with DP WORLD for e.g. Reefer Container, Thomas Cook seminar, Container Course etc.

Membership Fees.

Upon approval of the membership application by the competent body of the Association.

A non-refundable annual membership fee of AED 4,000/- shall fall due on the 2nd day of January of each and every year.

A non-refundable joining fee of AED 5,000/- becomes payable to the Association.

For a member, joining the Association at a later stage, the membership fee for the running year will be calculated pro rata temporis for every month begun, according to the Gregorian calendar.
Responsibility of Members.
01
Safeguard the interests of the Association and comply with the Articles of Association of the said Association, which may be in force from time to time.

Pay promptly all membership dues to the official representative of the Association.
